Richmond, VA (June 27, 2019) – Linden Row Inn and Trolley House Refreshments, Inc. are excited to announce the upcoming opening of a new restaurant concept in
the historic Linden Row Inn in Downtown Richmond, Virginia called Parterre. This partnership also brings with it an exclusive catering relationship with Groovin’ Gourmets Catering and Events.
Parterre, a new full-service restaurant, and craft cocktail bar will feature a unique selection of breakfast, lunch, and dinner options along with craft wine, beer, and cocktails. Menus will focus on regional southern comfort food with items such as smoked wings, pickled deviled eggs, and po’boys. Parterre will offer grab and go items, including retail beer, wine, and food products, catering to both hotel and restaurant guests alike.
“Drawing inspiration from the hotel’s historical relationship with Edgar Allan Poe, Parterre was named after one of Poe’s romantic odes, ‘To Helen.’ The poem features a mention of the ‘enchanted parterre’, or ornamental garden, located on the Linden Row grounds. We could not be more excited about the opportunity to give both the guests of Linden Row Inn and Richmond residents a new location that everyone can enjoy,” said Chase Seymour, Director of Culinary Services for Parterre.

About Linden Row Inn
Linden Row Inn is a 70-room boutique historic hotel located in the heart of Downtown Richmond, Virginia. The hotel is comprised of seven-row houses built in the mid-1800s that have been meticulously restored over the years, with many of the hotel’s guest rooms being furnished with antiques from the middle and late 1800s.
